I also write a lot about indie shooters, mobile games, and just about any game with a unique style. I also write about devices, especially ones that can connect to networks in some way. In fact, I really love connecting devices to networks.

There's even a little about connecting devices to networks to play games, which I have done a lot of. Mostly, though, you will find lots of links to games. Some are good, some are great, and some are downright bad. That's the fun of exploring. You can also find out more About Me.

Candy Wing

Candy Wing is a fairly standard cute ‘em up, but fun horizontals are harder to find these days. Arrows to move, ‘Z‘ to shoot, and ‘X‘ for bombs. Power-ups seem random, something I don’t like too much. Just don’t get killed once you’ve finally got enough power. I guess. Via Tim.

PaperBlast

I really like what 2Dcube has done with PaperBlast. It’s an interesting arena shooter controlled only with the mouse.

Your ship accelerates towards the mouse, and is constantly shooting and rotating. Click the left button to change your direction of rotation, and the right button for a bomb. It’s simple, intuitive, and makes for interesting game play.
