Too long without an image… pixelizr’s Flame of Souls is looking quite impressive in motion. Has some Ikaruga polarity switching going on. There’s a test build available.

NG:DEV.TEAM, developers of Last Hope (mentioned here), now have an English blog posted. Don’t waste too much time blogging at the expense of working on the game… sounds like advice I should give myself as well.

DS Homebrew Update

There’s a promising R-Type clone being developed, screenshots here. Source code is available as well, so another thing to add to my “things to study and learn from” list.

Here’s another shmup that looks good as well. Nice to see a lot of progress in all aspects of Nintendo DS development.
