Blessed is by fsFreak, and is another entry for the AutoFire 2007 Shooter Competition from a member of Monokey. There was an earlier, playable demo, but this version has all new graphics.
The gameplay remains much the same, and it’s a good, classic mix of mechanics. ‘Z‘ for shooting, hold it down and your shot soon focuses while your speed slows down. ‘X‘ acts as a shield, powered over time and also by killing enemies. Hit ‘X‘ with full power and you go into “rage” mode, you’re invulnerable and, well, mad enough to do 2x damage. Keep your combo meter going for more points. Great fun.
