Buying Exception

Posted in everything, games, must have, shmups at 11:12 am by the2bears

I checked in at i-saint‘s Exception page yesterday and found this great link, for foreigners. i-saint has provided easy to follow instructions for buying Exception through Melon Books.

Instructions followed, game downloaded, all for about $12. I mentioned the game before, and it’s definitely a must have. It makes fantastic use of a physics engine, applying this to some of the best level design I’ve seen in awhile. Just check out the video of stage 4 below, what a cool boss.

Try out the demo, and if it’ll run on your system follow the instructions for buying. You won’t be disappointed. I should also mention that I ran an “updater” program included that brought the game up to the latest version.

Many thanks for this. I’ve wanted to get my hands on this since I first saw it. I’ve just bagged myself a copy, and will give it a seeing-to right away. 🙂

I’m glad to help, I was chuffed myself to see the easy instructions. And I am really enjoying the game… put a good solid bit of time into it last night. After the Hockey game of course 🙂

This game is really cool. Either this game is very challenging or I’ve been away from the shmuppery for too long. Damn those dungeon crawlers that take my time away from the preciouuuuuussssssss shmups.

My laptop has an “ok” graphics card in it… I don’t get all the cool effects either 😛

But still, amazing game. Sound track running through my head once again.
