DefeatMe
Kenta Cho has a little study up at wondrfl. DefeatMe uses a replay mechanic where in each subsequent iteration you play against yourself (and all your previous selves). It’s interesting from a meta game point of view: can you play in such a way as to prolong the battle? I’ve tried pulses of shots, hoping for openings, but I still can’t defeat more than 3 of me. Perhaps I’m just too good?

Wow, it certainly helps to be frugal with your firepower, innit?

Definitely… you’ve got to give yourself some room to dodge. It’s interesting, almost feels like you’re “throwing the fight” so to speak.

Yeah, also stay still as often as you can

Haha. That’s fantastic. It’s like Cursor*10′s evil twin.
Scraped to stage 10, but man, I made it completely impossible for myself by that point.

Ah, this is driving me spare. I can’t seem to crack 10 on one and 7-4 on one of the forks.
Great game though.
