lockOn 2
JPH Wacheski has gone commercial with lockOn 2. This is not a bad thing, as the game is only $5 through Paypal and is, as expected, a unique take on arena shooters.
The game is described as a “proximity shooter”, having no aimed shots. Instead there are shots that lock on, a burst type of shot, and one more (that so far seems a bit useless). Enemies are created from the remains of other enemies, setting up for classic risk/reward strategies.
The game’s not quite my cup of tea, but well worth trying out the free demo.
